At the moment Members of Parliament are preparing for a general election set for December 12th to decide PM Boris Johnson’s proposal.

Even though the EU will listen to the UK proposal upon agreement, they will have no right to withdraw it in the future in documents seen by BBC.

The new deadline extension comes at a time when the UK has failed to meet the  31st September deadline.
