Everton bounce back to winning ways beating Chelsea

Everton recorded their first win under the stewardship of Duncan Ferguson as they defeated Lampard’s Chelsea at home.

It was a relief for home fans since the club sacked coach Marco Silva due to poor performance.

Richarlison scored the first goal for Everton when he took advantage of Djibril Sidibe cross sending it to the back of the net.

Calvert-Lewis doubled the lead at the beginning of the second half as he took advantage of Chelsea’s poor defensive error.

Lampard’s boys pulled one back three minutes later through Kovacic whose long range effort.

Calvert-Lewis was at it again netting his second and third for the club as he capitalized on defensive errors again giving Ferguson the much deserved three points.

The win lifts Ferguson’s boys to position 14th and above the relagation zone which they were occupying under Marco Silva.
