Everton sack coach Marco Silva, appoint Ferguson

Everton has sacked coach Marco Silva following a string of poor perfomamce.

Even though the action was to happen soon, Everton hold a dangerous position in the EPL with their biggest loss being that of Liverpool.

Confirming the news was the club itself who said that the majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri, chairman and board of directors wish Silva all the best in his future.

In his place Duncan Ferguson will take up a temprary responsibility as the head coach.

Silva joins the likes of Unai Emery who served as Arsenal coach for 18 months.

His reign saw a string of poor results both in the English Premier League and Europa League.

In his place, Fredrick Ljumberg took over even though his first match in charge ended in a draw.
