English Premier League club Everton has confirmed they will play Kenya Premier league side Kariobangi Sharks FC in the first 2019 pre-season friendly.
The match which is scheduled to be played on Sunday 7th July at the Kasarani Stadium follows Kariobangi Sharks 1-0 win against Bandari FC during the 2019 SportPesa Cup.
Everton match against Kariobangi Sharks will make the Blues second visit to East Africa.
In 2017 Everton traveled to Tanzania to play Kenya Premier League side Gor Mahia who were crowned SportPesa Super Cup winners. The match ended 2-1 in favour of the Blues.
While in Tanzania, the Blue also took part in several cultural and charitable activities across Dar-es-Salaam.
