Dr. Ezekiel Mutua has been appointed the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective 25th March 2022.
“The Board of Directors of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ezekiel Mutua as its Chief Executive Officer, effective Friday 25th March 2022.” Said MCSK
The appointment of Dr. Ezekiel Mutua follows a very competitive interview process that saw him emerge top among other candidates who had been interviewed for the position.

At MCSK he will bring in a vast knowledge in leadership, media and communication having served in various top leadership positions both in the private and public sector.
Before joining MCSK, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua worked at Kenya Films and Classification Board (KFCB) where he created a name for himself as the moral cop given his high standards for the society.
Mutua picked up fights with Kenyan celebrities who questioned his leadership and assistance to upcoming content creators in the country.
Other positions that the former KFC boss has served include a trainee reporter and sub-editor at Nation Media Group and Secretary General of Kenya Union of Journalist.
Receiving the news, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua appreciated his new appointment and joy to rejoin the creative industry.
