Fena meets CS Joe Mucheru,here is what they discussed

A call to play Kenyan music has now been trending for over a week and singer Fena took time to meet CS Joe Mucheru.

In their discussions as revealed, CS Joe Mucheru has assured artist that the government is ready to implement solutions for socio-economic and technological advancements of the nation through arts.

“We had the opportunity to discuss the future of the Kenyan music industry with CS. Joe Mucheru, who assured us that the Government of Kenya is keen on implementing solutions for socio-economic and technological advancement of our nation through the arts. “ Said Fena.

Singer and songwriter Fena has also vowed to continue the push for the agenda to play Kenyan music until all the stakeholders speak the same language.

“We will not back down on pushing this agenda, until all stakeholders are speaking the same language, and that is play Kenyan music, until all systems are back in place to benefit us all. 2019 is the year we put Kenyan music back on the international map. Said Fena.

Other artists involve in the push for the same agenda are Jalango and Xtian Dela who have vowed to showcase Kenyan Music on every platform.

Jalango confirmed a joint meeting at the KICC that will see artist and media personalities meet so as to push the agenda.
