World football governing body FIFA has called on Sports CS Amina Mohamed to reinstate Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
Through Secretary General Fatma Samoura, FIFA offered a solution to the problem requesting discussions aimed at solving the ongoing stand off between the government and FKF.
The football governing body had already threatened to suspend football activities in the country if nothing is done about it.

According to a statement they had issued earlier, FIFA termed the caretaker committee appointed by the CS as illegal.
“In the event the decision to appoint a FKF Caretaker Committee and correlated secretariat was to be upheld, we would have no other choice than to submit the present matter to the Bureau of FIFA Council for consideration and decision.
Therefore, we kindly ask you to inform the Cabinet Secretary that in an event her decision to appoint a FKF Caretaker Committee and corelated secretariat was to be upheld, we would have no choice but to submit the present matter to the Bureau of of FIFA Council for consideration and decision” Said FIFA
