Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga was on Sunday forced to cut short his rally at Athi River following an ugly fight at the VIP dais.
The fight emerged following conflicts between his supporters in Machakos during his official visit if the vast Ukambani region.
Trouble brewed after Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka pleaded with former State House Chief of Staff and Chama Cha Uzalendo party leader Nzioka Waita to step down for Wavinya Ndeti as the Gubernatorial aspirant for the Machakos seat.

The announcement did not settle well with Nzioka’s supporters who termed their candidate as a loyalist who stood with the former Prime Minister even when Musyoka abandoned him.
The former Prime Minister and ODM party leader Raila Odinga took to the stage promising a well crafted dialogue on the matter amid brewing anger at the dais.
Barely had he finished his speech, blows were traded behind him as Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu took cover behind him, a livestream that was quickly cut short.
