First wife of former Changamwe MP Kajembe laid to rest

The first wife to former Changamwe Member of parliament Ramadhan Kajembe has been laid to rest in Jomvu constituency on Friday.

According to a publication by the Star, Aziza succumbed to an unknown illness at Mombasa Hospital where she had been admitted.

The article continues by confirming that four months ago the former Changamwe MP lost her second wife Zaharia.

Health officials with protective gears supervised the burial ceremony which was filled with resistance at first.

A group of youth had initially camped outside Kajembe’s house blocking health officials from fumigating the house.

Police officers were called at the scene paving way for the fumigation to be conducted before those inside were blocked from getting out and those from outside being blocked from getting in.

Badi Twalib the MP of Jomvu was present at the burial as the former MP was too overwhelmed at the time.
