Florida has ordered vote recount for both the Senate and the Governor’s seat In the just concluded mid-term elections.
The news comes after President Donald Trump accused the Democrats for trying to steal the elections.
A machine recount has been ordered to decide the neck to neck race of the senate and governor which was narrowly won by the Republican candidates.
Announcing the news was the US Secretary of State who said the results will be out by 3pm on Thursday.
Other highly contested elections include that of the governor of Georgia and that of the US Senate of Arizona which are still undecided after Tuesday’s elections.
Democratic US Senator Bill Nelson was beaten by Republican Rick Scott by 12,500 votes but the Democrat has vowed to continue with his campaign and will not in any way interfere with the recounting process.
His counterpart Rick Scott called for the Sherrifs to make sure that there are no violations during the recounting process.
In the gubernatorial results, Republican Ron DeSantis lead his challenger Democratic Andrew Gillum by 33,700 votes.
Recently there has been accusation of fraud and lawsuits emerging from the Florida elections
