Ford Kenya has bundled out Moses Wetengula as the party leader and in his place appointed Wafula Wanyonyi.
The decision was arrived at following a delegates meeting that resolved to kick out Moses Wetangula on ground of gross misconduct.
Ford Kenya Secretary General Eseli Simiyu addressed the press admitting that through him, the party had lacked a clear direction.

Eseli was seconded by Wyclife Wangamati, the Bungoma Governor who said that it was the right move for the party moving forward.
The move by the party members comes at a time when Wetangula had announced his plans to run for the top seat.
He has also been against the political alignment happening at the NASA camp saying they are uncalled for at this time.
His counterpart Musalia Mudavadi has also questioned ODM leader Raila Odinga’s move saying they are acting on their own.
ODM on the other hand said they do not need the other parties permission to do the changes as the agreement they had was only on paper and nothing else.
Wetangula also revealed that they are being bullied by ODM party leader Raila Odinga in the recent string of changes being witnessed.
This week alone seven leaders allied to the NASA coalition were kicked out from various committee they held by virtue of being members of the party.
The leaders include Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa who was replaced by his Likoni counterpart Mishi Mboko at the PSC.
