Former Ainabkoi Member of Parliament (MP) William Chepkut has passed away at a Nairobi hospital where he had been receiving treatment.
Confirming his death was his family who said that the former Legislator was rushed to Mediheal hospital parklands where he passed away later on.
The family continued by saying that Mr. Chepkut has been sick for some time since last year and he has been in and out of the hospital receiving treatment.

The Former Ainabkoi served his constituency between 2017 and 2022 after he was elected as an independent candidate before losing to Samwel Chepkonga of the UDA party.
Another position the former legislator held was a personal secretary to the late Nicholas Biwott who was a powerful minister during President Moi’s era.
Chepkut will be remembered by his constituency for being a funny person and would visit residents using a Boda Boda. He was also a business person and operated two hotels located in Eldoret.
