A shocking video footage has emerged of former Formula 1 driver Nelson Piquet calling Lewis Hamilton the N-word.
The footage which was released by Brazilian publication Estadao on Monday was from an interview recorded in November, three months after Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen crashed during the British Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen went flying into the barriers after a severe contact from Lewis Hamilton at the famous Corpse Corner at Silverstone. The Red Bull driver was immediately taken to hospital for precautions, but the crash didn’t sit well with the Brazilian whose daughter is dating the reigning F1 champion Max Verstappen.

“The n*gger put the car in the wrong way and didn’t let (Max swerve),” Piquet told Estadao.
“The n*gger put the car in the wrong way in the corner, it’s because you don’t know the curve. It’s a very high curve, there’s no way to pass two cars and there’s no way you can put aside,” added the three time F1 champion.
“He did (Verstappen) dirty. His luck was that only the other one was gone.”
Lewis Hamilton went on to win the British Grand Prix ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc despite getting a 10-second penalty for the incident.
Formula One have sinced posted a statement on their website condemning the racial abuse Lewis Hamilton was subjected to from the 69-year old saying “Discriminatory or racist language is unacceptable in any form and has no part in the society,”
Lewis is an incredible ambassador for our sport and deserves respect.” The statement further said.
Formula One fans are calling for Nelson Piquet to be banned from paddocks during races as a punishment for his despicable behavior.
