Former Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo was on Monday attacked at his Milimani house in Kisumu by four people.
The four identified as police officers caused commotion as his driver tackled the three men and one woman from making entry into his house.
According to NTV, Jakoyo Midiwo was alerted by his guard only to find five officers from Kisumu Central Station.

Efforts by the former legislator to determine their motive turned futile as he was strangled before he was bundled at the back of waiting vehicle.
Midiwo confirmed to have identified on female officer who tried to calm the other four and informinh him that they were drunk.
He was driven to Kisumu Central Police Station where he reported to have been slapped and tackled to the ground before he was locked up.
How Jakoyo Midiwo secured his freedom
Intervention from the Officer Commanding Station saw the former Gem MP secure freedom and securing a p3 to have the four officers arrested.
He confirmed to have filed a complaint with the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) to have the officers investigated.
