Former Kisumu Governor and Ugenya MP ditch Azimio for Kenya Kwanza

President-Elect William Ruto welcomed Movement for Democracy and Growth leaders led by former Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma to Kenya Kwanza after ditching Azimio coalition.

Accompanying the former Governor at Karen were Ugenya MP David Ochieng and former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa.

“Kenya Kwanza is delighted to welcome the Movement for Democracy and Growth to the alliance. We are committed to partnerships that help us build one Nation for the prosperity of all Kenyans.

Present were party leader David Ochieng (MP Ugenya), Secretary General Mary Makokha, Hon Jack Ranguma, Hon Fred Outa, Hon Olago Oluoch and Eliud Owalo. Governors Sakaja Johnson (Nairobi) and Kimani Wamatangi (Kiambu) also attended the meeting, Karen, Nairobi County.” Said DP William Ruto

The leaders follow the tracks of several other leaders from Azimio who have joined the Kenya Kwanza camp immediately after the general elections.

The move has however angered former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who noted that the pliticians still have agreement with Azimio and was illegal for them to make such switches.
