Former MP arrested on allegations of threatening to kill

Former MP (Member of Parliament) of Makadara Reuben Ndolo was on Saturday for creating disturbance and threatening to shoot.

The former MP was arrested alongside six others at Bustani Gardens along Oledume road in Nairobi by Flying Squad detectives.

Word has it that the seven were threatening to kill a business man over a parcel of land before the long arm of the law caught up with them.

“Flying Squad Detectives last night arrested SEVEN People among them Mr. Reuben NDOLO, Former Member of Parliament for #Makadara, at Bustani Gardens along Oledume Rd on allegations of Creating Disturbance & Threatening to Kill. All suspects in lawful custody awaiting arraignment.” Said DCI

The other six suspects are namely Mr. Daniel Otieno Juma, Mr. George Otieno, Mr. Cyrus Nyamboga Gichana, Mr. Bernard Ochieng Andai, Mr. Dick Otieno Ombaka and Mr. Hassan Dima Wario.

Ndolo and his accomplices are currently being held at Kilimani police station and are expected to be arraigned in court on Monday.

Suspected bags recovered in Mombasa

Several bags of suspected fertilizers were on Friday recovered following a joint operation by DCI detectives and GSU.

The bags were recovered at Bangla village and Mikindani in Mvita constituency and led to the arrest of one suspect by the name Esther Mwamba.

Investigations into the suspected bags are still ongoing as the suspects home has been condoned by the detectives.

“SEVERAL BAGS of suspected stolen Transit Fertilizer was yesterday recovered from Mikindani and Bagla villages in #Mvita by a combined Team of Detectives & #GSU officers.

The operation that was triggered by intelligence reports also led to the arrest of the suspect; Eunice MWAMBA.

The operation is still ongoing with the suspect’s houses cordoned for further search & enquiries. ” Said DCI
