Former Garsen MP Danson Mungatana and his co-accused have on Wednesday been released on Ksh 20,000 each.
The will however appear before the court on Tuesday next week as police continue with their investigation.

On Tuesday the two were nabbed at a city hotel where they were accused of obtaining money under false pretence.
The two were meeting a woman whom they are said to have requested Ksh 1 million as down payment pending issuance of tenders from the Department of Defense (DOD).
According to a woman identified as Everlyn Njoki, she was to receive Ksh 70 million in return only to notice something was wrong before raising an alarm.
Detectives on arrival found the former Garsen MP with one Collins Waweru was his co-accused and were taken to Kilimani police station on Tuesday.
The documents issued to the woman were checked and found to be fake after issuing them Ksh 1 million on 14th July 2020.
