ODM party leader Raila Odinga is mourning the death of Mzee Chitembe Bundu, a firm supporter of ODM party at the Coast.
The former Prime Minister promised to visit the family of the Mzee Chitembe in the earliest opportunity.
“My heartfelt condolences to the family of my friend Mzee Hassan Chitembe Bundu. He stood firm with The ODM party and provided leadership across the Coast. We stand with the family whom I’ll be visiting at the earliest opportunity to say pole. May He Rest In Eternal Peace.” Said Hon Raila Odinga.

The former Prime Minister also mourned the late Chitembe as a strong pillar of the party who worked tirelessly to ensure the party’s popularity at the Coast over years.
““Mzee Hassan Chitembe’s death is blow to us.We have lost a strong pillar of our party at the Coast.He was loyal & a believer in the course & worked tirelessly to popularize our movement at the Coast. I have personally lost a good & trusted friend” Said Raila Odinga.
ODM party also mourned him terming him as one of the strongest supporters of the party since its inception and party leader Raila Odinga.
“Since the inception of the party, Mzee Hassan Chitembwe Bundu has steadfastly been a member of the movement and one of the strongest supporters of our party leader HE Raila Odinga. This evening, he took a bow from the world to be with his creator. We have lost a strong member.” Said ODM party
