Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has handed its former president Philip Chiyangwa a lifetime ban.
The lifetime ban follows Mr. Chiyangwa submission of an incomplete bid document to host an upcoming Cosafa Cup.
In addition to that, the incomplete bid document lacked the government guarantee.
South Africa, however, will host the event after beating Zimbabwe who had applied to host it.
Philip Chiyangwa who is the current president of Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (Cosafa) lost his ZIFA presidency seat last year.
The ban is likely to come with a hefty fine imposed on him by the Southern African Associations in addition to no entries into ZIFA meeting, conferences and any football-related activities in the country.
