Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have confirmed the arrest of four Chinese nationals over the assault of a Kenyan.
The arrest follows a viral video shared by K24 showing Deng Hailan, the manager of Che Wou restaurant canning one Simon Oseko for coming late.
Initial reports indicate that it was not the first time that Deng has used such mode of punishment as many other Kenyans have been forced to quit due to the behaviour.

Arrested alongside the manager was Chang Yueping and Ou Qiang who work as chief in the restaurant located in Kileleshwa, Nairobi.
Chang and Ou were found with expired visas while Deng has a visitors visa and lacked a working permit.
The Chinese Embassy responded to the video urging the authorities to investigate and impose necessary legal measures.
Currently, Simon Oseko is said to have left his position at the restaurant as the police plan to arraign the suspects in court on Monday.
They will be charged with assault and causing actual bodily harm.
Victims of the four suspects have been called upon to record statements with the detectives as part of evidence against them.
