Four people are reported dead in two separate accidents along the Nairobi-Machakos highway and in Migori County.
Along the Nairobi-Machakos highway, three people died following a head-on collision between a saloon car and a 14 seater matatu at kanaani.
18 others sustained injuries and were taken to Machakos Level Five hospital for treatment. Four out of the eight are said to be in a critical condition.
The other accident is said to have occurred in Migori County where a man was run over by a lorry as he jumped off a motorbike.
Marwa Sinda is said to have jumped as the motorbike and the lorry was heading the same direction.
Two others are reported to have sustained injuries and were rushed to Migor Level Four Hospital for treatment.
The accident occurred at Kehancha, Migori County.
Yesterday three people are reported dead when a trailer heading to Uganda collided with a police land cruiser.
The three included a police officer who died on the spot at the Bungoma-Malaba highway.
