French president Emmanuel Macron has vowed to see into the rebuild of the Medieval Cathedral at Notre-Dame following a major fire incident on Monday.
The 850-year-old building was partly destroyed by the fire but it was controlled by the fire department that rushed to the scene.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established with reports pointing to the recent constructions that were underway.
Currently, investigations are terming it as an accident after 9 hours of battling the huge inferno that attacked its spire.
How the fire spread.
The inferno began at 16:30 GMT and it was able to reach to the roof of the Cathedral before destroying the glass windows and reaching the spire at the top.

Part of the vault in the Medieval Cathedral at Notre-Dame has been destroyed with the spire completely written off by the fire.
