Passengers of Modern Coast were on Monday angered by the bus company as they failed to refund their money.
Many of them gathered around their Mombasa office to claim their refund which they were promised to be sent via Mpesa on Monday.
As the offices remained closed it was a state of dilemma for many of them who had made travel plans during the December holiday.

The management was also unavailable for questioning since NTSA revocked their license on Thursday December 12th.
NTSA acted on complains from the public and recent incidents involving Modern Coast that have caused the deaths of many.
The recent accident that hit headlines was that involving two of its buses that rammed head on killing seven people.
All buses were recalled for inspection to determine their safety standards as drivers were taken through a refresher course.
