Fulham appoint Ranieri as new manager

Fulham football club through there chairman Shahid khan have announced the appointment of Claudio Ranieri as the new manager to replace Slavisa Jokanovic.

Ranieri is well known for leading Leicester city to a premier league win in 2016 and at Fulham he will have the task to lift the club from the bottom of the table.

Fulham this season have 5 points from 12 matches they have played.

In his speech Ranieri thanked Mr. Khan for the invitation to lead the club that is well known for its tradition and history. He also said that Fulham should not only fight to survive in the premier league but also to be a difficult opponent in field.

He went further to describe the current team as exceptional and talented contrary to the current position the club is at.

Khan took time to thank Slavisa for his contribution to the club and he believes the decision he has made is correct and best to the players and to the Fulham community at large.

Other potential candidates.

Khan and his son tony Khan who is the Vice Chairman and Director of football operations at Fulham, held interviews with potential candidates for the job and they chose Ranieri as their choice. Tony and Ranieri will collectively oversee players’ recruitment and contractual agreements.

Khan praised Ranieri and described him as risk free and ready built for the premier league. Fulham will face Southampton in their coming fixture at Cottage.
