Giant python rescued in Tanzania Kasala forest

A giant python snake has been rescued in Tanzania following his discovery inside Kasala forest.

The 10 feet giant python was discovered by residents living near the forest before the news started spreading in nearby villages.

Many started streaming in saying the snake had supernatural powers hence need to attend to it.

Sacrifices were brought in included a whole goat but unfortunately, the python refused to eat but instead settled for its blood.

Elders conducted prayers in the forest calling for rains as they surrounded the snake and at the end they said they know their prayers have been received.

Tanzania Ministry of Natural resources and Tourism stepped in when huge numbers of people were reported to make way to Kasala forest.

They then decided to move the python to a nearby reserve far from the people.
