Gikomba Market is once again on fire on Sunday morning as Nairobi City experienced heavy downpour.
The Sunday morning incident engulfed part of the market as traders rushed to salvage the little they can.
At the time of publishing the article, the cause of the fire is not yet known with the effect said to have destroyed properties and goods of unknown amount.

The news comes barely two months after a similar incident happened with the cause speculated to have been caused by a move by Nairobi Metropolitan Service (NMS) to relocate the traders to another place.
Kenyans have also raised questions aimed at the government seeking to have a lasting solution with others claiming powerful people attempting to grab the land where the market is located.
