The government through the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has confirmed that all Police Clearance Certificates will be sent via the applicant’s e-Citizen account.
This follows a number of uncollected certificates that have not been collected or sent to the applicant’s email.
“The Directorate of Criminal Investigations notifies all applicants of the Police Clearance Certificate ( Good Conduct) that certificates are NOT collected at the headquarters upon successful application, or sent to their e-mail accounts.” Said DCI

Applicants have however been warned receiving such certificates through emails from now moving on.
“We have made things easier for the applicants. The document is sent to the applicants’ e-Citizen account, where the applicant can download it from the comfort of their houses, using their smartphones. Any certificate sent on email or through any other means is NOT genuine.” Said DCI
