Gospel singer Esther Wahome loses father to cancer

Gospel Singer Esther Wahome is mourning the death of her father William Wahome Gakonyo.

The late father to the veteran gospel artist succumbed tocancer on Saturday 27th July 2019.

In a moving tribute of her late dad, Esther Wahome admitted the pain is unbearable even though he taught her to be a prayer warrior.

“RIP my loving dad EV. William Wahome Gikonyo
My dad, my mentor, my spiritual cover, my prophet, my friend, my greatest fan, my cheerleader.
Today is the second day since you were transferred to heaven, and though I know you are in a better place, the pain is unbearable.” Said Esther Wahome

She continues by saying how her dad taught her music, toproclaim and poses her portion, pull down strongholds and take charge.

Ether Wahome praises her dad for being strong throughout the painful journey remembering how her late dad kept on saying God is great.

“Though we have walked a painful journey this year as you battled cancer, I never heard you complain a single time!! you said God is great and good all the time, and those were the words you uttered with your last breath.” Said Esther Wahome

The late William died in the presence of her daughter who confirms to have received the mantle.
