Governor Hassan Joho meets former president Moi

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has on Saturday met with former President Daniel Moi.

Although the agenda of the meeting is not yet known, the Mombasa Governor paid a visit to the former President at his Kabarak home.

The meeting comes following the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga.

After the handshake, Hon. Raila Odinga visited former President Daniel Moi where the two discussed on ways to bring the country together.

Hon. Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta have come together to spear head the Building Initiative where all Kenyans are urged to unite for a better Kenya.

Deputy President William Ruto also made a vist to the former President but the meeting did not go well as the Deputy President was unable to talk to former President Daniel Moi.

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi however made a trip to Mombasa where they held a closed door meeting with Governor Ali Hassan Joho.

The meeting sparked rumours of political alignment ahead of 2022 elections.
