Initially Mr. Obado has been charged with the murder of Sharon Otieno but after a DNA test was conducted confirming to be the father of the infant, charges of murder of the infant were added into his charge sheet.

Government pathologist Johansen Oduor confirmed that Sharon was stubbed eight times and died from excessive bleeding.

Deep stab wounds from Sharon’s back are also believed to have passed through to the infant who also died.

The family of the deceased initially refused to bury their daughter until justice prevails.

They have so far buried the infant and plans are underway to bury Sharon next to the grave of her infant.

Sharon’s mother accused the Governor for lying to her daughter as the two were said to be in a relationship with Mr. Obado promising the deceased government tenders.
