Governor Sonko rescues Mathare woman indulging in drugs

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko through his Sonko rescue teamhave on Wednesday rescued a woman from drug abuse.

Sonko rescue team rescued Yasmin Fatuma from Mathare and sheis currently undergoing treatment at the Mbagathi Hospital in Nairobi.

Yasmin will then be transferred to a rehab after undergoing treatment.

“Drug abuse remains a major challenge to the youth in Nairobi. Today my team managed to rescue a youthful woman from Mathare area where she was indulging in drug abuse. Yasmin Fatuma is now undergoing treatment at the Mbagathi Hospital before she’s transferred for rehabilitation.” Said Governor Sonko.
