It was the worst start for Barcelona in more than twenty years as they settled in position seven in La Liga as the host took top position.
Even the inclusion of Messi made no impact having lost the best chance in the first half when striker Luis Suarez strike was canceled out.

Atletico Madrid failed to take advantage to lead the table settling for a goalless draw with Celta Virgo.
Real Madrid who will be playing on Sunday can widen the gap with the Catalans if they win against Sevilla.
