Harambee Stars goalkeepr Matasi has been rushed to the hospital following a grisly road accident along the Kapsabet-Nakuru road at Lessos.
The former AFC Leopard coach who was in the company of his family and brother-in-law lost control of the vehicle he was following a tyre burst before rolloing several times.

He was immediately rushed to Kapsabet hospital where the doctors are running a series of tests to check any possible internal injuries. Reports confirm that Matasi complained of chest pains from the accident.
The wife and child of the goalkeeper who were with him at the time of the accident are reported to have suffered injuries and are currently receiving treatment.
At the time of the incident, the goalkeeper was heading to Nairobi from Kakamega with his family. At the moment the family is waiting for the doctor’s report before taking the next course of action.
