Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have welcomed their second child, a daughter who they have named Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
Meghan Markle welcomed her daughter in Friday at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara at 11:40 am.
A statement from the power couple also confirmed the sex and name of their daughter in addition to the hospital as they thanked the team of doctors who ensured everything went as planned.

“It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world.
Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11.40am in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California.” Read the statement.
The statement further confirmed that the mother and daughter are healthy and are currently settling well at home.
According to their secretary, the name Lilibet is the nickname of her grandmother Princess Diana as the couple honour the late Princess.
“Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet.
Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honour her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.
Lili is the second child of Meghan and Prince Harry after Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor who is now two-years.
How Harry and Meghan revealed pregnancy
Harry and Meghan revealed pregnancy news back in February through popular photographer Misan Harriman.
“Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow. Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news!” Said Misan.
They then revealed they were expecting a daughter during a an explosive interview that got the world talking.
The two revealed how their son was discriminated due to his skin colour way before he was born. He was also denied security as a royal member.
Both Harry and Meghan expressed fears that life as Royal members would risk a repeat of Princess Diana life that ended following a series of publications.
