Heroin, Bhang hidden in skirts, blouses confiscated at JKIA

DCI detectives based at JKIA have confiscated heroin and bhang of unknown value on its way to Sudan, Uganda, Cambodia and France.

“Intelligence-led operation by DCI Kenya ANU detectives based at JKIA this morning saw the confiscation of unestablished amounts of Heroin & Bhang enroute from Juba and Entebbe, to Cambodia and France respectively.” Said DCI

The drugs hidden in different consignment saw the detectives unravel a powdery substance hidden in the buttons of skirts and blouses.

“On opening the first consignment, three blouses each with 8 large buttons and three skirts each having 17 buttons were found, where on dismantling the buttons each was found to contain a powdery substance which upon testing turned to be heroin. Both consignments seized with further investigations ongoing.” Said DCI
