Police in Homabay have arrested a total of 36 teenagers aged between 12 and 17 years at a house party at 11 pm.
The children arrested are reported to have recently completed their KCPE and KCSE exams. Some of them had been hired by the house owner to spend the night as he travelled.
Curious neigbours were attracted by loud noises from the house before informing the police who acted swiftly with four of them escaping the scene.

Several items were recovered including unused packets of condom, alcohol, music equipment and motorcycles believed to have been used to ferry them to the house party.
Parents have been urged to take responsibility of their own children as such incidents lead to unreversable consequences for both children and parents including unplanned pregnancies among others.
The 36 teenagers are currently being held at Ringa police station with parents being warned against challenging the law.
