Hong Kong media tycon Jimmy Lai has been released on bail after 36 hours of arrest by state police over allegations of colluding with foreign forces.
The arrest of the 71-year-old tycoon was one of the high profile cases coming at a time when China implemented the national security law.
Mr. Jimmy Lai has been vocal and against the government who have in turn charged her for incitement and hate speech.
Two days ago, police ambushed an office where they arrested a number of people including the media tycoon who was in the building.
They also went through some of the documents before coming out holding Mr. Lai and taking him away in a waiting vehicle.
The Hong Kong police did not however name him as one of those arrested as photos made way through the social media.
