President Uhuru Kenyatta has on Friday confirmed that 11 million Kenyans have already registered for the Huduma Namba
Speaking from the State House as he delivered his Easter message, President Uhuru Kenyatta termed the Huduma Namba registration as a move from the manual system to a well digital system.
At the same time, the President also announced Huduma Namba registration for Kenyans in diaspora will be open from May 6th and the exercise will be done from the various embassies for a period of 45 days.
Friday marks 16 days since the exercise began with the Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’I urging every Kenyan shun from the critics about the Huduma Namba registration.
Huduma Namba registration was challenged in court and it was made not mandatory as it blocked the government from collection any DNA samples and GPS coordinates from Kenyans.
