Former CS Mwangi Kiunjuri has spoken for the first time following President Uhuru Kenyatta’s decision to sack him.
Speaking from Serena Hotel on Tuesday, Mwangi Kiunjuri said the decision has not caught him by surprise.
He further thanked God for everything saying he feels relieved leaving the post.
Kiunjuri also pointed out how dedicated he had been at the docket something that his family clearly knows about.
He, however, promised to stay committed to serving as a leader in a new capacity ahead of him.
The CS was replaced by Peter Munya under new reshuffles announced by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Amb. Ukur Yatani was officially confirmed as the Finance CS following the arrest of Micheal Rotich on graft charges.
