ICRC terminate racist staff based in Nairobi

ICRC which stands for the International Committee of the Red Cross has terminated one of their staff over racial claims.

The foreigner was accused of racially abusing women and a guard at Lavington Mall in Nairobi.

The image story was quickly shared online angering Kenyans who called for his immediate deportation from the country.

The international body deployed their team to investigate the issue and they resolved to terminate his assignment in Kenya.

“We appreciate those who came forward and reported the incident, especially those who made time to meet with our team.”

They apologized for the disturbance and to anyone who was insulted.

“The ICRC has a long presence in Kenya, one that has been made possible by our relationships with the public, Kenyan authorities, our partners at the Kenya Red Cross, our dedicated staff, and above all, the communities we are here to serve.
