Speaking after the news, the Deputy President expressed confidence with the commission promising to have a good working relation to ensure that credible, free and fair election results are issued.

“Kenya Kwanza has confidence in IEBC that it is up to the task and I commit that my team will work with you diligently so we can have a credible, free, fair and verifiable general elections,” Said DP Ruto.

Ruto continued by calling on his supporters to resist from unnecessary violence but instead focus on ensuring a Kenya Kwanza win come August 2022.

The media was not left behind as the Kenya Kwanza Presidential candidate urged them from exercising fairness when airing news related to elections, days after calling off his presence during Presidential debates in the country.

The Deputy President faulted the media for being biased when airing political news and giving more audience to his competitors as he called out two top media companies.

His clearance now paves the way for vigorous campaign season in the country as revealed by members of his camp.

“You haven’t seen a campaign yet. After today you’ll see what you haven’t seen before. We will liberate this country from economic oppression.” Said Director of Communication, Hussein Mohamed.
