Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’I has issued a new directive to stop processing of work permits for foreigners.
Speaking at The Nairobi University, Dr. Fred said that all foreigners will from now on be required to get working permits from their countries.

During his speech, the Interior CS also directed thata mandatory PR traing course should into the new curriculum to all immigration officers.
The interior CS also added that no immigration officer will be able to get any promotion unless they undertake the post graduate Diploma in the migration studies
