Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) has launched investigations into the death of four people at Masimba, Kajiado County.
The four are reported to have been shot dead by police who were dispersing angry residents who were demonstrating over increased wildlife attacks in the area. Several other people were injured.
A rapid response team has been dispatched to the area to investigate the issue and where the fault is found then the authority shall make the necessary recommendations including prosecution where deemed fit.

“On completion of the investigations, where fault is found, the Authority shall make recommendations, including but not limited to prosecution.” Said IPOA
The Thursday incident has drawn sharp criticism from leaders who are now demanding for justice and the arrest of those behind the killings.
