U.S forces based in Iraq were attacked by missiles fired by Iran who were responding to the death of commander Qassem Soleimani.

Speaking after the attack Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran said the attacks were a sign that they want nothing to do with the U.S.

He was speaking in front of a crowd that was happy with the news as they shouted “death to Americans”

A total of 15 missiles are reported to have been fired to the forces with some sources putting the number to 22.

President Donald Trump vowed to access the situation at the ground before saying all is well.

Iran on the other side said the attacks were the end of their response to the murder of Soleimani.

No casualties were reported following the attacks as other countries including German, Denmark, Norway, Britain, and Poland gave the same report.

One source from Iran was quoted saying that Helicopters and other machinery were damaged following the attacks.
