Atleast 16 million people have been quarantined in Lombardy, Northern side of Italy following the rise of coronavirus infections.
The news was announced by Italy’s Prime Minister who confirmed the quarantine will affect 14 more other provinces.
In the meantime popular joints including gyms and pools have been ordered to be closed as the government fights the virus.

Weddings have not been spared either as the government advised couples to postpone such plans.
Tourist popular centers including Venice and Milan have been affected with the new regulations as financial challenges mount the country.
in just 24 hours 50 people have been reported dead as the number of deaths pass the 230 mark by Saturday.
Infections have rose from 1,200 to 5,883 as at Saturday as Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte pleaded with citizens to make sacrifices as they fight the virus.
Lombardy alone houses about 10 million people who are forced to stay at home with only emergency personnel roaming the streets.
