JKIA based detectives arrest wanted man departing to Dubai

Detectives based at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) have arrested one wanted suspect as he was departing for Dubai.

The suspect identified as Innocent Oundo Sillingi is reported to be on the stop order record of DCI as recorded on 24th February 2020.

“Detectives based at JKIA have arrested Innocent Oundo Sillingi as he was preparing to depart to Dubai following a stop order placed by DCI Headquarters on 24/2/2020.” Said DCI

Mr. Sillingi who acted as a director of Project Capital Solutions, is reported to have obtained Ksh 10 million under false pretense that he would provide credit funding program, letters of credit and discounting of documents but he was never to be seen.

In addition to that, he also promised to supply and finance the project in question under specific terms and conditions. He is at the moment under police custody pending prosecution.

“Acting as a director of Project Capital solutions, Mr Sillingi obtained over 10 Million Shillings by falsely pretending he would arrange for letters of credit, discounting of documents facility for suppliers and credit funding program.

Further, the suspect claimed he would also finance the supply of both the project and working capital under certain terms and conditions. He will be charged accordingly.” Said DCI.
