Speaking on Tuesday, Governor Hassan Joho urged security forces to move with speed and bring to book the perpetrators of the attack.

“I am extremely perturbed by yesterday’s wave of attacks in Bamburi and Mtopanga within Kisauni Sub-county. I urge security agents to move with speed and bring to book perpetrators of last night’s attacks on innocent civilians” Said the Mombasa Governor.

He continued by requesting members of the public to volunteer information that will lead to the arrest of the gangs.

“As Govt, it’s our duty to ensure the protection of people’s lives & property. I am asking members of the public to volunteer information that will lead to the arrest of gangs that have been terrorizing people. We need to get to the bottom of the matter & address it once and for all.” Said Governor Joho.

Kenyans were angered by his statements saying that he is trying to fool people while he is splashing photos on Instagram.

Others requested him to build more school to provide education that may eventually lead to self-reliance.
