Joseph Irungu alias Jowie has filed a petition expressing his worry of not getting any fair trial under Judge James Wakiaga.

Joseph Irungu was charged alongside his fiancé Jacque Maribe who was released on a Ksh 1 million cash bail and three sureties.

According to his lawyers Cliff Ombeta and Sam Nyaberi, Justice Judge Wakiaga was impartial in bail and expressed biasness during the bail application.

It will remembered that during the bail application hearing Judge Wakiaga said that the picture from the pre-bail report is that the accused person is a male version of a slay queen or forlack of a better terminology he(Jowie) is a woman eater.

The ruling never sunk well with Joseph Irungu who through an affidavit feels the judge is denying him bail by not using the evidence before him but through external influence and what is said out there especially the social media.

According to Jowie, the Judge has already passed judgment in regard to the case and he is hopeless under the same Judge.

Justice Wakiaga at one point during the last hearing literally compared the two accused saying the Citizen TV presenter was so sure of her innocence by saying that her only mistake was falling in love, Words that according to Jowie are a conclusion of the whole case.

Through his lawyers, Joseph Irungu has drafted a complaint to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) in regard to Judge Wakiaga’s conduct.
