Jowie Irungu risks going back to Kamiti Maximum Prison after the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) requested the High Court to cancel his bail.
The statement by the DPP is of the view that Joseph Irungu violated his bail terms by engaging in a fight at one the country club in the city of Nairobi.
The accused is reported to have assaulted one Robert Okungu during the weekend fight at the club before filling a report at Lang’ata police station.

According to Jowie’s lawyer David Ayuo, the matter was settled between Okungu and his client before proceeding to court.
Media reports confirm that Jowie has a case to answer after it was found that he does not live in Nakuru County with his matter as revealed before the court during his hearing.
The officer in-charge of the investigation further confirmed that he lives within the city and that he is a frequent visitor of the club where some of the witnesses in the murder case also visit.
Together with former Citizen TV presenter Jackie Maribe, the accused was the prime suspect in the brutal murder of businesswoman Monica at her house in Kilimani, Nairobi.
