Judge Stella Mutuku of the High Court has issued an order allowing Sarah Wairimu to attend the burial of her late husband Tob Cohen.
The private event is scheduled to take place at the Jewish cemetery in Nairobi on Monday at 2pm.
According to Jewish norms, the body of the dead is to be buried less than three days but that was not the case in the case of the late Tob Cohen.
Judge Stella Mutuku further ordered that the prime suspect should be escorted to the cemetery on Monday afternoon.
The orders come barely days after Sarah Wairimu through her lawyer Philip Murgor turned down the reading of the late Dutch tycoon’s will.
Murgor further questioned the authenticity of the will as a court battle is expected to ensue later.
In his will, the Dutch tycoon allocated the fattest share to his sister with his brother receiving 25% only as he left out his wife.
Once the burial is done, Sarah is expected to undergo a mental assessment before she stands to take a plea in the murder of his husband.
The late Tob Cohen was found murdered at his house in Nairobi thanks to a successful DCI operation led by boss George Kinoti.
A postmortem has also be done and the results will be unveiled once they are out.
